Jewish Billionaires Make Forbes List of Most Eligible Bachelors

Jewish billionaires made a splash on Forbes’ recently published list of “The World’s 12 Most Eligible Billionaire Bachelors”.
Canadian real estate developer Mitchell Goldhar, whose estimated net worth comes in at $1.5 billion, owns the Israeli soccer club, Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C. Goldhar was the driving force behind bringing Wal-Mart to Canada and according to Forbes, he is the 20th richest person in The Great White North.
38 year old Nathaniel Rothschild who was born in Britain and now lives in Switzerland, has an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion according to The Sunday Times in the UK. Nathaniel, sometimes known as “Nat”, was educated at Oxford University and is an heir to the famous Rothschild finance fortune started by German Jews in the 18th century. Nathaniel himself is not considered to be Jewish.
Forbes also placed Israeli tech entrepreneur Teddy Sagi on its list of the most eligible billionaire bachelors, but according to a report by Globes, Sagi is not “eligible”.
“While the 40 year old Tel Aviv based high tech entrepreneur is not married, he has for the past two years been living with his partner Yael Nizri, a former beauty queen and Miss Israel 2006,” writes Globes.
Two of the other 9 remaining billionaire bachelors have strong business connections to Israel as well. Xavier Niel owns part of Israel’s Golan Telecom and Nicolas Berggruen is a part owner of the firm building Tel Aviv’s new 37-floor luxury building, Meier on Rothschild.
