Music Makes it Better is a partnership between Justin Bieber and the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. and an Israeli software company is providing the platform to raise the money that will help children at the hospital through music and art therapy.
Arnon Shafir, who heads give2gether, the Israeli company powering the fundraising platform, says having someone like Justin Bieber on board should help the amount of money that comes in to help the children at CRNC.
“I Believe that Bieber, with 21 million Twitter followers, will bring a flow of donations in a short period of time and boost social action through social media,” he said.
The hospital hopes to raise $25,000 towards helping child patients through artistic therapies, which it says are of extra importance to children going through difficult medical problems.
“Music and art and creativity are important to all kids, especially if you’re sick and in a strange place like the hospital. Every kid needs music to feel normal, healthy, and happy, especially when they’re recovering from illness,” CRNC said in a statement.
