After receiving a standing ovation earlier in the week on “America’s Got Talent”, 14 year old yarmulke wearing Edon Pinchot has advanced to the semi-finals of the competition.
“For me, Edon, is the chosen,” said Howie Mandel, one of the three judges on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”.
“One of the chosen,” host Nick Cannon affirmed.
Howard Stern was the second judge to place a vote, and while he admitted that Pinchot’s age worked against him in certain instances, he decided to vote for him anyways.
“I knew America was probably going to go for you, I’m going to give it to you Edon,” Stern said.
Pinchot, dubbed as the “Jewish Justin Beiber”, performed the song “Titanium”, created by David Guetta and Sia, in the quarterfinals of the competition. While Sharon Osborne did not officially get to vote for Pinchot or his competitor, Todd Oliver, she did weigh in with her opinion.
“Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt in my mind, I would have voted for Edon,” Osborne said.
