Bar Refaeli Super Bowl Commercial Sparks Record Sales for GoDaddy (VIDEO)

Featuring Bar Refaeli in a Super Bowl advertisement has meant big bucks for GoDaddy.com. The web hosting company says that it had record sales the day after the commercial, which features the Israeli model passionately kissing a “geeky computer nerd,” played by actor Jesse Heiman, aired during the most watched annual sporting event in the U.S.
“Attracting new customers is what advertising is all about,” Go Daddy CEO Blake Irving said in a statement. “We set all-time Super Bowl Sunday records for mobile sales, Website Builders, website hosting and new customers.”
According to Mashable, GoDaddy reported:
- Hosting sales jumped 45%.
- Dot-com domain sales rose 40%.
- New mobile customers increased by 35%.
- The company added 10,000 customers in total.
