Evan Kleinman is a four-time Emmy nominated producer. He has produced for the NBC lifestyle series, "LXTV 1st Look," and real estate series, "Open House." Evan's passion is to tell compelling and inspiring stories through documentary film. After receiving a BA in television production at Ithaca College in 2004, he worked for "Race to Execution," a PBS documentary for "Independent Lens" about the death penalty in America. Since then, Evan has worked as an editor and cinematographer on various films covering topics ranging from Coney Island to Women's Rights. In 2011, Evan completed his first feature documentary, "We are still here," about his family traveling to Poland to place a gravestone on the site where his grandfather buried his brother who died during the Holocaust. Evan's second film will be completed in 2012. Entitled "Punk Jews," it follows a community of artists expressing Judaism in unconventional ways. Evan has also produced various commercial work, music videos, and online media for New York Magazine, Broadway.com, various fashion brands, PR companies and musical acts.
