Julien Balkany

Julien Balkany, 31, is a French citizen and a candidate for the French 2012 parliament election in the first constituency for French residents overseas which includes the US and Canada. He is the cofounder and managing partner of New York-based private investment company Nanes Balkany Partners. He was ranked as one of the world's top traders and hedge fund managers in Trader Monthly Magazine's annual list of the "30 Under 30" in 2008, and he received an award from Institutional Investor Magazine as one of "Hedge Fund Rising Stars" in 2010.
