Obama Calls for More Tolerant World to Honor Holocaust Victims

Xinhua – U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday called for building “a more peaceful, just and tolerant world” in honor of the survivors of and those who perished in the Holocaust.

He described the Holocaust in the Second World War as “one of the darkest, most destructive periods in human history,” in which six million Jews and millions of other people were murdered by the Nazis.
