A somber Benjamin Brafman arrived at Manhattan’s criminal court at 100 center street for the arraignment of accused sex offender Dominique Strauss-Kahn. The International Monetary Fund leader was arrested by Port Authority police at JFK airport and removed from an air France Paris bound flight.
Strauss-Kahn is accused of crimes against a maid who entered his room at the Mnahattan Sofitel. He is being defended by one of America’s best known criminal defense attorneys Ben Brafman.
Until the reported incident, Strauss-Kahn was considered a front runner in the French presidential race. Brafman has notified members of the press that his client will deny all charges at the Sunday evening arraignment.
