Shuttle Endeavour Lands for the Last time

USA Today – In the dark hours of Wednesday morning, Commander Mark Kelly guided the space shuttle Endeavour to touchdown on Earth for the last time, ending a 16-day mission and Endeavour’s 19-year run spent transporting astronauts, science, and knowledge back and forth through the planet’s atmosphere.

The shuttle is in “great shape,” Kelly said at a post-flight press conference. “It looks like it’s ready to go do another mission.” Instead, it will be retired to the California Science Center, a museum in Los Angeles.
