It’s not often that snow comes to Israel but on Friday morning, the Jewish State woke up to plenty of the white stuff in Jerusalem, the Golan, Efrat, and across the country.
As of 11:30am ET, about 2 inches had fallen, with another 2 expected throughout the day on Friday.
Government agencies and authorities did quite a bit of planning for the rare snow shower and while electricity demand is expected to rise while temperatures drop, the country’s services are up and running efficiently after what the Jerusalem Post called “days of preparation by the municipality.”
