Fox News – Mitt Romney appears to have a solid lead over Rick Santorum in the Illinois Republican primary, though the race is still too close to call after polls closed in the delegate-rich state.

Based on exit polling, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul are trailing far behind, while Romney and Santorum battle for first.
