Drake, the 25 year old Jewish rapper from Toronto, is stirring up quite a lot of buzz this week after he released a new music video for his track “HYFR”.

The video starts with real life footage of Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, at a bar mitzvah, wishing the camera “mazel tov”.

A caption at the beginning of the video reads, “On October 24, 2011 Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham chose to get re-bar mitzvah’d as a re-commitment to the Jewish religion” and the video accompanying the “HYFR” song is “displaying the events that took place.”

Below are some of the tweets circulating about Drake and his new track, on Twitter.

Twitter:

@BlogXilla: Just watched @Drake‘s #HYFR video and now I think I want to be Jewish.

@VickieGlover: Now I want to have a bar mitzvah and I’m not even Jewish. Thanks @Drake

@FelixBillion: Drake is making me want to start being a Jewish Rapper!!

@MesmerizeOn_Cee: I just love that classical idea of Drake announcing he’s jewish by turning the Synagogue into a full blown club! Freaking genius
