by Algemeiner Staff
Drake, the 25 year old Jewish rapper from Toronto, is stirring up quite a lot of buzz this week after he released a new music video for his track “HYFR”.
The video starts with real life footage of Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, at a bar mitzvah, wishing the camera “mazel tov”.
A caption at the beginning of the video reads, “On October 24, 2011 Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham chose to get re-bar mitzvah’d as a re-commitment to the Jewish religion” and the video accompanying the “HYFR” song is “displaying the events that took place.”
Below are some of the tweets circulating about Drake and his new track, on Twitter.
