Politico -Rahm Emanuel on Tuesday called the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling “one of the single worst decisions by a court” and said it “put a price on freedom.”

“I think the Supreme Court decision on Citizens United was one of the single worst decisions by a court,” the Chicago mayor and former chief of staff to President Barack Obama told MSNBC’s Chris Jansing. “They’ve decided that if someone can write a $34 million check, their speech is more valuable than someone who wants to cast a vote — that’s what it decides.”

No Rahm, the Supreme Court decided that you cannot limit someone’s speech simply because they are willing or able to spend more money then the next person. The Democrats have abused the system for years by starting covert organizations like MoveOn.org and using Labor Union funds and workers to staff campaign offices.

I am willing to support any effort to get the billionaires out of the electoral campaign but only if they include every political organization funded by George Soros and the Labor Unions.
