Politico -Rahm Emanuel on Tuesday called the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling “one of the single worst decisions by a court” and said it “put a price on freedom.”
“I think the Supreme Court decision on Citizens United was one of the single worst decisions by a court,” the Chicago mayor and former chief of staff to President Barack Obama told MSNBC’s Chris Jansing. “They’ve decided that if someone can write a $34 million check, their speech is more valuable than someone who wants to cast a vote — that’s what it decides.”
