Two Candidate Runoff Expected in Egypt’s Historic Presidential Election

CBC – Egyptians return to polling stations across the country today to choose their next president, although lineups appeared smaller than they were the first day of the historic vote.

There are 13 candidates in the race — including liberals, Islamists and former regime figures — to elect a successor to Hosni Mubarak, the longtime authoritarian ruler who was ousted during the Arab Spring more than a year ago.
