WSJ – President Barack Obama has tapped Sen. John Kerry, a man who’s been there before, to play opponent Mitt Romney in debate rehearsals, an Obama campaign official said Monday.
Mr. Kerry knows what’s required, having been the Democrats’ presidential nominee in 2004, where he performed well in his three debates against then-President George W. Bush. Mr. Kerry also knows some of Mr. Romney’s personal vulnerabilities, having also been tagged as out of touch with the struggles of regular Americans.
