A group of students at IDC Herzliya in Israel has started a website where there’s nothing but laughs.

Video clips from around the world make up the entirety of gigglers.tv, a website which allows users to upload their favorite videos of people laughing.

“Laughter is a border crossing universal language with proven therapeutic effects on the mind and body,” Leona Furher, one of the students involved in the making the website, told the Israeli blog NoCamels.

Research has shown that laughter among human beings can be contagious, and the students who created the website hope that their work allow laughter to spread.

“Gigglers.tv aspires to make this fact known through our motto ‘spread the laugh,’ and turn the world into a happier place,” Fuhrer said. “We hope that users from around the world will upload and share laughter videos in order to form an international laughter reservoir for everyone to enjoy.”

When we visited Gigglers.tv, the video below is the first one that came up.
