Amid its growing partnership with Cornell University, the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology was ranked 25th on Business Insider‘s recently released list of the world’s 50 best engineering schools.

New York City announced the Technion-Cornell initiative in December 2011 with the goal of creating an unmatched engineering campus on Roosevelt Island, which lies between Manhattan and Queens along the East River.

Technion President Dr. Peretz Lavie told JNS.org this past February that the school’s strategic goal is “to be among the 10 leading technical universities in the world, joining such schools as MIT, Cal Tech, Stanford, and Georgia Tech in the United States, and the leading universities in Europe, Asia and India.”

The July 9 Business Insider list was “compiled by canvassing engineers, industry professionals and entrepreneurs who work at some of the most popular technology companies,” according to its website.

Engineering has been my main dream in life. My father has told me about a great school in Israel that will bring me to success in the future of my life. The name of this school until now has been unknown to me but i think that this is the school. in the situation I am in now I don’t know if I will be able to attend. However I will try.I may have not expressed it right but this is the best i can.

    sincerely,
