Disappointment for Israeli Athletes at Olympics

JPost -Israeli gymnast Valeria Maksyuta ended ‘s qualification in tears after her dreams came to a painful ending at the North Greenwich Arena. The 24-year-old, who made aliya from Ukraine five years ago,  off the beam twice and lost her handling once in the uneven bars, recording an overall  of 45.699 in the All-Around qualifiers.

“I  really hard to get here, but I just couldn’t do it,” a shocked Maksiuta said.
