While her teammate was performing in the vault competition, Jewish Olympian Aly Raisman was reading on an e-book according to an Instagram post by rachsyme.
“Her reading while McKayla Maroney vaulted for her medal was a nice, nerdy touch,” adds Willa Paskin at Salon.
