Two Thieves Who Posed as Chassidic Jews Nabbed In France
by Atara Arbesfeld
French police arrested two suspected thieves who disguised themselves as Orthodox Jews with fake beards on Monday, charging them with robbing a number of jewelry stores over several months, according to Israel National News. French officials are still on the hunt for a third suspect who has not yet been apprehended.
Police reported that the three Gentiles, whose ages ranged from 19-20, felt that the disguise made it easier for them to obtain access to rob the jewelry stores without arousing suspicion, because religious Jews are not viewed as dangerous in France.
