In a television interview last month, Ahlam Tamimi explained her role in planning the deadly 2001 bombing of a Sbarro restaurant in Jerusalem and expressed the disappointment she felt when initial reports claimed only 3 Israelis were killed in the explosion.

“Afterwards, when I took the bus, the Palestinians around Damascus gate (Jerusalem) were all smiling.  You could sense that everybody was happy,” she said.  “When I got on the bus, nobody knew that it was me who who had led [the suicide bomber to the target].  I was feeling quite strange because I had left Izz Al-Din (the bomber) behind, but inside the bus, they were all congratulating one another.”

Tamimi received 16 life sentences for planning and helping to execute the August 2001 bombing in Jerusalem, which killed 16 Israelis, however she was released as part of the deal that freed Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit from captivity under Hamas in 2011.

“But first, let me tell you about the the gradual rise in the number of casualties,” she said in an Arabic interview on Al-Aqsa TV which has been translated into English by the Middle East Media Research Institute.  “While I was on the bus and everybody was congratulating each other, they said on the radio that there had been a martyrdom attack at the Sbarro restaurant and that three people were killed.  I admit that I was a bit disappointed because I had hoped for a larger toll.  Yet when they said ‘three dead’, I said, ‘Allah be praised.'”

Tamimi went on to explain the joy she felt when the death toll continued to rise.

“Two minutes later, they said on the radio that the number had increased to five.  I wanted to hide my smile, but I just couldn’t.  Allah be praised, it was great.  As the number of dead kept increasing, the passengers were applauding.”

It is her right to express whatever she thought and thinks.
It is our right to express disgust at her and her personality.
She and us, we have two very different views of the small world called now Israel, therefore we have to fight each other.

    • There are not always “two sides” to every issue nothwithstanding the moral relativism of modern liberalism. Blowing up children in a pizza palor is not a view anymore than putting children in a gas chamber in Treblinka is a view…It is bestial conduct commuted by subhumans whether Nazi or Muslim…
As Churchill said so beautifully….MEINKAMPF was the new KORAN.

A planned murder of innocent human beings can never be justified. There are 22 Arab nations and there is only one Jewish nation. No one says America should relinquish land to the American Native Indians nor to the French, the Mexicans or the Spaniards yet the world asks Israel to relinquish land. What makes the Palestinians a people is their hatred of Jews and Israel. They do not have their own language, religion or culture. Their history is based on falsehoods and down-right lies that the former Arab dictators fed to their subjects to divert the misery that their own leaders inflicted on their daily freedom-less lives. Israel grants freedom to all people of all faiths. Name an Arab nation that does the same.

The real SHANDA is NOT the fact that an Amaleqite speaks and acts as an Amaleqite, but that the idiots in power in Israel did not eliminate her, that other idiots risk Jewish kids’ lives to capture her instead of killing her, and that other idiots liberated her puttibg Jewish lives at risk again, after putting Jewish lives at risk by not killing her the first time.
THE WHOLE PRACTICE IS PERVERTED and COMPLETELY AGAINST JEWISH MORALS, THAT IS COMPLETELY AGAINST TORAH…even if Jews who get their ethics from Marx (Karl or Groucho, the same), Siegmund Freud or Woody Allen say that the whole thing is moral…

I am not exactly sure what is newsworthy is this story. Is it her statements or is it that her statements are being broadcasted? The broadcaster could argue that it was simply an interview and that it is as appalled as anyone by Tamimi’s statements. What was the context of the interview? Was it news or was she a featured guest on a show. The subject of anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli programming from the Palestinians is nothing new. However, I am more interested in the overall marketing scheme of Palestinian broadcasts than the comments of a convicted mass murderer. Who exactly is Al-Aqsa TV and which other venues broadcasted the interview? I believe that we have to careful of disseminating information that has no value other than to inflame passions at the expense of providing insightful news as to impending dangers, such as the militarization of the Sinai, etc.

  • A typical Muslim sociopath. They are a dime a dozen. One in a million Muslims does not share her views.

  • Thoroughly DISGUSTED

    She is an animal.
So much for Islam being a religion of peace.
She and her ilk have totally twisted the Quran.

    • She did not twist the Koran. She followed it exactly. Mohammad had 900 unarmed Jews decapitated at Quarazah. She simply followed his example….as do all Muslim sociopaths.
