Ynet – Students at South Africa‘s University of Witwatersrand announced Monday they are adopting an academic and cultural boycott of Israel in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

A statement issued by the school’s Student Representative Council (SRC) also called for an immediate investigation into any academic, financial and cultural relations with Israeli institutions.

    Does WITS university really think that Israel cannot do without them? The Israelis should be boycotting SA institutions of higher education in return…oh,I almost forgot,the ANC can always run to their Cuban buddies for help !!

    Israel should expel all RSA students from Israel today. Israel also needs to move on increasing the royalties paid by RSA academic institutions on all Israeli intellectual property by a factor of 100.
