Ynet – Israel is the second-most educated country after Canada, a recent report published by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) said.

According to the “Education at a Glance 2012″ report, Israel came in second place, in terms of the percentage of 25 to 64 year-olds that have reached higher education.

    If the Chareidi community was more favorably disposed towards a university education, Israel would for sure be #1. There’s no shortage of brainpower there, but there is ideological opposition to the idea.

    Israel is a combination of 75% Jews 20% Arabs etc.. The Jews are no doubt the most educated in the world. The Arabs are decrease the Israel to the second place.
