Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has released a Rosh Hashana video message in which he recalls his recent trip to Israel, highlights the strength of America’s relationship with Israel, and praises the contributions of the U.S. Jewish community to the country.

“I recently had the privilege of returning to Jerusalem for a few days and during that trip I was reminded once again what a remarkable country has emerged in 64 short years,” he says, stressing that “Israel is among America’s best friends and closest allies in the world.”

In the video Romney promises that “A free and strong America will always stand with a free and strong Israel.”

Referring to the Jewish community of the United States, the former Governor offered words of praise saying, “the Jewish community has helped build our economy, helped defend our freedoms and helped earn our special place in history.”

Ending on a personal note, Romney says, “It is Anne and my’s sincere wish that you have a sweet new year.”

  • Unfortunately we have a mole in our mi9dst. Mr. Wasserman–Is he reklated to that mole in Fliorida? He accuses Romney of Obama’s message. Obama while wishing Jews a happy new New year must inject that we become more tolerant of others–meaning of course his Muslim brothers. When it’s the other way around. Unfortunately too many Jews are tolerant of Islam and they the Muslim still want to murder us all.

He has the ability to make even a simple holiday greeting sound insincere.

larry go jump in the lake, this liberal disrespectful remark makes you deserving of a head scan to find out if you have a brain

Romney is a friend of the jews and particularly the PM. Lack of honesty is much more evident in our pro-islamic President

The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 acknowledged Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Obama’s attempt to remove support for a united Jerusalem from his party’s platform represents a clear reversal in Democrat Party direction and demonstrates Obama’s true anti-Israel nature. Vote Democrat at your peril.
