An Israeli driver was shot at by a Palestinian in an attempted terror attack early this morning according to the Israeli Defense Forces.  “A Palestinian opened fire on an Israel vehicle, that was travelling near Karnei Shomron, and damage was done the vehicle,” an IDF Spokeswoman told The Algemeiner.

According to the Spokeswoman, the incident took place at “4am Sunday morning,” and “IDF soldiers searched the area for suspects.”

Asked about the status of the victim, the IDF was unable to provide any further information.

Israeli paper Arutz Sheva, reported that the area has faced many similar attacks in the past, writing, “Residents of the communities and of nearby Kedumim have been subject to hundreds of shooting, rock-throwing and fire bombing attacks for more than a decade.”
