Following on the heels of the fiery speech given by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the United Nations, Israeli officials say that anti-Israel rhetoric in the Palestinian Authority (PA) is at its worst level since record keeping began in 2009.

Strategic Affairs Minister Yossi Kuperwasser, who oversees a team tasked with monitoring anti-Israel incitement, briefed the Israeli cabinet on anti-Israel incitement by the Palestinians. In the presentation called “Culture of Peace and Incitement Index in the PA,” Kuperwasser said the PA is telling Palestinian civilians through its spokesman, media and education system that “the area between the River and the Sea would eventually be restored to the Palestinians.” The PA, according to Kuperwasser, also conveyed that “the demonization of Jews and Zionists in general, and Israelis and settlers in particular; and that all forms of struggle, including, the use of terrorism, are legitimate,” the Jerusalem Post reported.

Commenting on the anti-Israel incitement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “This is additional proof that this is not a dispute over land but a denial of the existence of the State of Israel.”

“As long as the Palestinian Authority educates the younger generation to hatred, how is it possible to even speak about peace?” Netanyahu asked.

What they do and teach their children is a crime against humanity. Much of the deluded west buys into the blatant and erroneous propaganda of poverty. First in light of supposed poverty that child looks well fed and has a fake bomb vest (presume fake so if you are in poverty do you not buy food first) and childs military camouflage uniform. I live in the UK and frankly I see real poverty and am sick of the lies of these supposed suffering Gazans. They never seem to lack weaponry and the ability to dress their children up as jihadis and to provide them with presumably toy guns. It is about choice not about poverty. Real poverty exists in Africa when you see children in rags with protruding bellies from stick legs and arms. That is poverty. Sick and tired of the lies of the jihadis and their peverted and warped depraved political religious ideology. Leaders like Hilary and Hague should wake up and stop being the silly led by the sinister.

    gentlemen:

‘us against the world’ ? — the meretz party in israel endorsed the move to admit Palestine as a non-voting UN member.

so did quite a few intellectuals in Israel and the U.S. — I am thinking here of J.J. Goldberg and Leonard Fine especially.

if Bibi had pursued real negotiations instead of pushing more settlement activity — the Palestinian request for UN membership–would not have happened–nor would the ‘world’ have been so sympathetic.

i think Likud should take some responsibility for their bad judgement.
