The Arabs got Jordan to the east of the river and the Jews settled for Israel on the west even though archeology shows that all of the mandated territory called Palestine is the ancient land of the Israelites. Even before Israel took back Judea and Samaria in 1967 those regions had been occupied by Jordan since 1947 when 5 Arab states invaded the little piece of land the Jews accepted in an ill feted trade off for piece with a people who it is clear never intended to allow the Jews freedom in their own land. There never was a people called Palestinian until 1964 when the PLO decided to use that name as propaganda to create world pity for their cause to annihilate the only Jewish state in the world. Jerusalem always has been and always will be the eternal capital city of the Jewish people. It’s best the Arabs of the region accept that Jordan is their piece of the Holy Land so that all the people in the region can begin to benefit from a similar success to that of Israel. Its time ordinary Arabs told their terrorist leaders to butt out of their lives and allow them to determine their future in their own section of the settled territory in Jordan.

Perhaps to put it correctly, Israel with its strength and its western support never intended to negotiate a two state solution. They could perpetuate the occupation and slice away at Palestinian land till nothing viable is left of it to be a Palestinian state. The only person who had a vision and guts was gunned down by people who didn’t want the way it was going.Mr. Shimon Perez is no too old to have any influence any longer. People like Nethenyahu are there to create more settlements because they are elected by those who want the whole thing for themselves.Remember nothing last forever one should not get complacent.
