Politico – The Wrap has a rundown today on several possible candidates who are being considered to run Al Jazeera America.
The Wrap’s Sharon Waxman reports that the leading candidates to head up Al Jazeera America — which will replace Current TV later this year — are ex-CNN president Jon Klein, ex-NBC News president Steve Capus and former CNN managing editor Mark Whitaker. No offers are currently on the table to any candidate, however, according to The Wrap’s sources.
