Jerusalem Post – The Palestinian Authority’s demand that Israel release terrorists from prison as a precondition for peace talks is unacceptable to 85 percent of Israeli Jews, according to a Smith Research poll sponsored by the Knesset’s Land of Israel caucus.

Asked whether they would support releasing terrorists as a gesture to bring the Palestinians to the negotiating table, 57% said they would strongly oppose it, 28% said were against it, 13% said they supported it and just 2% said they were strongly in favor of such a move.

    If Israel wanted to do something that would save Jewish lives, it would not be imprisoning thousands of Arab terrorists, murderers and would-be murderers. It would be hanging them after trial. And the hangings should be televised. Then Abbas would not be able to make this particular outrageous demand, justice would be served and future Israeli lives saved.
