JNS.org – Jewish celebrities were tweeting sarcastic remarks about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Monday as Kate Middleton went into labor for the Royal Baby. Middleton gave birth to a boy.

“I too had a royal baby this morning, after my morning coffee,” tweeted actor Zach Braff.

TV personality and blogger Perez Hilton tweeted, “I am just praying @AmandaBynes doesn’t call the Royal Baby ugly!!!”

In a quest to provide a Jewish angle on the Royal Baby, the London Jewish Chroniclereported that the Lindo Wing of London’s St. Mary’s Hospital, where Kate Middleton was admitted, is named after Frank Lindo, a wealthy Jewish man who had donated more than $100,000 to the hospital.

JNS.org also got in on the hunt for a Jewish angle on the Royal Baby, attempting to get more details about the hospital via its website, but the webpage was down, possibly due to the hoopla surrounding the birth.
