US Rapper Pitbull Performs in Tel Aviv, Despite BDS Efforts to Intimidate International Music Stars Wishing to Tour Israel

Despite calls from the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) organization for US musicians to avoid performing in Israel, rapper Pitbull entertained thousands of fans at a major concert on Monday night in Hall 1 of the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds.
Israel’s Channel 10 reported that the show opened with the song “Hey Baby,” and included many of the singer’s duet performances, with images of his missing singing partners, including pop princess Christine Aguilera, being projected on a big screen. Pitbull ended the night with a performance of his most well-known hit, from the 2011 album, Planet Pit, “Give Me Everything.”
The rapper raised eyebrows over the weekend with a detailed request list for his hotel to keep him and his entourage comfortable during his first stay in Israel.
