JNS.org Twenty-eight members of Israeli Knesset, among them seven deputy ministers, on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cancel the planned release of terrorists to the Palestinian Authority (PA) as part of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict negotiations process.

Habayit Hayehudi faction chairwoman Ayelet Shaked spearheaded the request, writing a letter that was signed by MKs from Habayit Hayehudi, deputy ministers and MKs from Likud, and MKs from United Torah Judaism and Shas.

“It doesn’t make sense that a country that sanctifies life would release murderers who, amid negotiations, continue to commit acts of terror,” said the letter.

The letter refers to the deal Jerusalem signed with the PA in July, which secured the release of 104 Palestinian who were charged with acts of terrorism and sentenced to jail in Israel. The deal was seen as a gesture to the PA for restarting peace talks. Israel has so far released 26 terrorists.

How in heaven does this imbecile Netanyahu think that the releasing of murderers will inspire Fatah to make peace? If Fatah, from which many murderers have actually come from, smells that Netanyahu is afraid of Hamas and Iran and that is why he is trying so desperately to make peace with them they will to everything they can to sabotage those attempts. In addition, the Torah warns against defiling the land by keeping murderers alive (lo tachanifu et haaretz….) It is bad enough that Israel refuses to enact a death penalty for terrorists. The truth is, the negotiations should be over Israel returning the corpses of the executed terrorists from secular graves. This is a chillul Hashem and Netanyahu will pay for this like Sharon did. He will be stripped of his leadership and maybe even his life by Hashem for desecrating the land of Israel by allowing murderers of Jews to roam free upon it. If Kahane were alive and Prime Minister there would be no murderers to release because they would all be in Hell asking about their virgins.
