A British survey on discrimination found that 15% of respondents don’t trust Jews, the BBC reported, while some 60% of respondents thought Muslims had a negative image in the country.

The Comres survey of 1,001 Brits, aged between 18 and 24, conducted online in June, painted a surprising picture of discrimination across a broad spectrum of people, categorized by age, education, location and income, when asked to categorize their views.

When asked about religious groups other than Jews, 12% said they didn’t trust Christians, 13% said they didn’t trust Buddhists, 16% said they didn’t trust Hindus or Sikhs, while 27% said they didn’t trust Muslims.

Young people place the blame for distrust of Muslims in Britain on terror groups abroad (26%), the media (23%) and UK Muslims who have committed acts of terror (21%), the BBC reported.

Outside the survey, other figures also supported the findings, including data from the Metropolitan Police, released in August, that pointed to a 61% rise in anti-Muslim crime in London over the past year. The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) has also said there has been an “unprecedented escalation of violence” since the brutal killing of Fusilier Lee Rigby by Islamists in May, the BBC reported.

Akeela Ahmed, from the Cross-government Working Group on Anti-Muslim Hatred, was quoted as saying: “These findings indicate that we need to ensure young people are mixing at local levels and that they’re working on projects together so that people can get to know Muslims and vice versa.”

Professor Matthew Goodwin, another one of the group’s members quoted by the BBC, said: “Every survey that I have run, and surveys run by my academic colleagues, makes it quite clear that a significant proportion of the British population hold negative views of Islam, and by extension British Muslim communities.”

We have got to remember that the way we feel towards Muslims has been propagated by the Jewish run western media, and Jew run countries like the USA and the U.K. Have created Isis, but we must not forget the continual murder and land grab which I might add has been ongoing since 1948 by Israel, and never punished by the United Nations or is never really mentioned in the western Jew run press, beware of Jew treachery.

No,No No Never, ever trust a muslim not even about the time of day or the color of the sky. If it benefits Islam they will lie to you no matter what!

Curious-when we have see articles on polls about how our Jewish compatriots a feel about *us*,their host populations?Considering the establishment is top heavy with Jews I’d say it’s a bigger concern for more of us.Why is the Jewish perspective more important than ours? The difference between distrust of Jews vs Christian is small,I smell sensationalism here.

  • Mike: you have a difficult road to hoe…I can’t say I envy you…and I’m Jewish!!

P.S. I agree with ed.k Having been a British teacher for over thirty years, most of the British youth couldn’t identify a Jew. They are simply not interested. All they care about is sex, drugs and rock n roll and fighting at football matches. They don’t even criticise you. During my sixty five years on this earth and living in Britain (apart from six months in Israel) I have never once heard an anti semitic comment from a school kid, friend or colleague. So stop knocking what you don’t know. We’re not that bad. You are well protected by the invisible and powerful hand of God who still thinks you are the best thing since sliced bread so be thankful and rejoice.

Stop reporting bad news all the time. Report the good news, like thousands of British Christians who pray for the Jews and Israel on a daily basis. That includes me!

I’m surprised the percentage of youth that don’t trust Jews isn’t higher, but perhaps they don’t watch enough BBC. The BBC has been responsible for more falsehoods than one can imagine, about Israel and about Jews. The Jews, who are responsible for forming peace-loving nation, creative, industrious, innovative, first responders in time of catastrophes, are described with the same adjectives as are their enemy. If the BBC continues, I will not be surprised that they awaken one morning with blood on their hands, because their news reporting inspires hate and emboldens antisemitism. The big question is always, “to what end?” what is their purpose?

Find out who are the main shareholders in BBC.
United Press International, Fox News. Al Jazeera etc

You will be surprised to see how many Arab/Muslim nations have taken control.
These Arabs/Muslims dictate what the news must be, and it is full of “Hate Jews. Hate Israel”
How many of the world’s population have ever met a Jew, or visited Israel, to learn the truth?
Remember that the Jews are about .01% if the world’s population. 14 million in total.
How many Jew haters think that Jews have horns?
Sure, if you do not know Jews, or have never visited Israel, from what you read in the Guardian, BBC Al Jazeera etc, you too would say “time for the world to kill all the Jews”
The only country in the entire Middle East, where Christians are safe to practice their religion, churches are protected, is in Israel. But the Arab propaganda is so fantastic, that the world believes all the hatred.

    Please Excuse Me …….

However to say , what.. that 15% of the British don’t trust
Jews.. is a joke , this as 95% of the British would not no how to identify a socalled Jew. My sincere apologies to Israel for such ignorance.

    Shaloam..God Bless Us All

I am surprised that the negative feelings about Muslims is not higher. Perhaps it is due to the fact that that age group does not pay that much attention to the news.

  • Wallace Edward Brand

There is good reason to hold negative views of Islam but no reason to extend it to all Muslim people when it appears that only a small percentage believe Islam should be practiced as it was in the 7th Century. Is is these who view resistance to Shariah and placing barriers to its growth is an attack on Islam and so their attack on these infidels they view as a defense of Islam. See The Quoranic View of War and its review in the Army War College Journal.

being a Muslim myself, those prits just need more time for another 9/11. I dislike Muslim Brotherhood and the like because they give bad name to Muslims like me who is trying to live an honest pay for an honest work.
