Amazon.com, the world’s largest online retailer, has been caught selling anti-Semitic and Nazi-related hate literature, website The Kernel reported.

The revelation comes after an apparent four-year hate literature hiatus since 2009, when the American Jewish Committee sued Amazon’s German subsidiary for stocking 50 pro-Nazi books. The offensive books were removed from the site, though they now have been re-stocked on its virtual shelves.

According to The Kernel, books that glorify Nazis are available for sale in Austria, Germany and France, which ban that type of literature. Titles include The Myth of the Extermination of the Jews, Building a Whiter and Brighter World, and Did Six Million Really Die?

“According to the publishers of Did Six Million Really Die?, the book reveals that ‘the Auschwitz Camp Museum has confessed that the ‘gas chamber’ shown to tourists is fake,’ that ‘original German architect plans of Auschwitz show no ‘gas chambers,’ that ‘forensic chemical examination of Auschwitz has disproved the use of Zyklon-B as a homicidal agent’ and that ‘official Israeli and Polish university archaeological digs at Belzec, Chelmno and Sobibor have failed to find any evidence of ‘gas chambers,'” The Kernel wrote. “The book also claims to show ‘how ‘eyewitness survivor’ memoirs, including that of Simon Wiesenthal, have been forged’ and ‘why the story was made up.'”

Last week, Amazon was also compelled by consumers to remove books about rape, bestiality, incest and other sexually deviant works that were for sale on its website.

Similar hate books can also be found on the website of bookseller Barnes & Noble, The Kernel said.

Just today I received a $5.00 off coupon for my next order. Looks like I WILL NOT be using it. Shame on Amazon!!!

Did you know,Today in the united states there are lots of german americans in the USA.It looks like a invasion there are planning a fourth reich in this country!

  • Sameh Abdel-Hakam

What’s wrong in selling books with an opposing opinion to yours or your culture? do you want to ban every book that speaks out against your beliefs?

    • Anne Lawrence

Unfortunately, though historical events may be open to interpretation, there still are facts – that is, facts are different from opinion. The use of gas chambers during the events in Europe is a fact, not an opinion.

    • obviously you’re an idiot! how about we conduct an experiment…let all your people be exterminated. we’ll see how you feel about oppossing opions then. do you really think all this propaganda that the Holocaust deniers really believe there was no such occurance? they are succeeding in convincing all you fools, while they know the truth.
open your eyes. see the evidence. where did six million souls disappear to. or are we also fabricating the existance of these innocent people.

    • Penny

Nothing wrong with post opinions that clash with yours, but out and out lis for lying sake is not only disgusting, but dehumanizing.
Amazon and now Barnes & Noble will be removed from my site. Anyone who pushes ignorance and mendacity need to made public, soothe world sees them for what and who they are, just as the Arabs are mendacious and orally ignorant.

  • Re:Cynic Jew. Very sound, very logical. Anti-Semitism in Germany was spread from top universities. People are both intellectual and emotional and often the emotions overrule the logic – support on campuses for the BDS anti-Israel campaign is a case in point.

Confused, self hating and uninformed Jews are one phenomenon. Moslems selling their souls for Jihad or Taqiyya (deliberate deceit),all for the greater glory of God, are something else. No amount of fact, logic or persuasion is going to influence them. They would prefer to fight the infidel with the sword, but know that the pen can be mightier than the sword.

Sure there are many unanswered questions about the Holocaust, one being how civilised, intelligent (?) people could have brought themselves to commit the atrocities. There are also six million answers, including the murder of one and a half million children.

Instead of writing to Amazon, why don’t we all write to
Algemeiner asking that they include an email address on stories like this where the public may make a difference. In this case, it would be nice to have the right person at Amazon to write to so that we can voice our displeasure at what they are doing. Please write Algemeiner so that they do this in all future stories.

How about an electronic BDS rally against Amazon until the sale of such trash be stopped?

I’m a writer who is now in the process of submitting a book to Amazon for publication. There is no charge to do this and as long as you can format the manuscript to the publishing requirements, it’s possible to publish without anyone from Amazon previewing the book first, it appears. I could be wrong and maybe it’s just because I haven’t gotten to that step yet. Amazon is doing a lot for people who dream of publishing books, and of course, there are always abusers of every privilege. If books were taken off the site, it might be that the writers or whoever keep putting them back on. Therefore, the answer is to keep calling such books to the company’s attention. In the war of ideas and truth, we can never put down our weapons.

  • To “Master Adrian”

Dear “master”: No one is denying anyone the right to speak and be heard. We are simply attempting to identify those who lie. Bald-faced liars need to be un-masked, their statements revealed as anti-Jewish lies. For a start, anti-Jewish lies are nothing new. They’ve been going on for…a few THOUSAND years, give or take a Yom Kippur or two, one way or t’other.

  • Alon

I just notified amazon that from now on I will not buy from them anything. More people should do the same, this is the only way they understand…. BOYCOTT!!!!

    • Stuart Hersh

If you use Amazon, as I do, for purchasing research books (and there are good materials as well), I suggest you check titles, authors and wwhen possible, check the Table of Contents.

I found books on Amazon that dispel these holocaust deniers through documents, memoirs from family members of Nazi leaders. Nuremberg testimonies and interrogations of the top war criminals. Psychopathologies of Hitler and his associates.

While I agree with the assessment that Neo-Nazi materials have no place in a post-war society, you can not prevent their dissemination. Amazon and Barnes and Nobles are not the only outlets available.

Boycotting Amazon is simply “throwing out the baby with the bathwater.”

  • john

Sue them again , I will now boycott them forever , everyone should follow suit

  • Sandy Brown

I find it amazing that anyone prints these denial books to start with. I grew up watching all the film on TV about the Shoah. In black and white. This was not made up. That was in 1958 when I had just left primary school in England. I was born in Nov 48. You could not make that up all that footage. And talk to the survivors of the Holocaust. I worked with a lady in Holland who had been in Auschwitz. That was in 1974. She had the number on her arm. And talk to the people in the Army who found the survivors in the camps when the war ended. I am sure they did not make that up. These people who deny the Holocaust are just idiots. I also transcribed the tapes of Rudolf Hoess, the Commandant of Auschwitz, for Lawrence Reiss for the 60th Anniversary of Auschwitz.

  • EthanP

I will say it again and again. Not one Nazi! Not a single one! Ever said it didn’t happen! Not at Nurenberg!
Not at any war crimes trial. Rudolf Hoess, commandant of Auschwitz admitted it. Was proud of it! His defence, as all the others, was “I was only following orders”! Not a one ever said the Holocaust didn’t happen!

  • Master Adrian

The definition of Freedom of Speech is that people can say, write and think what they want, and limiting Free Speech is ending a basic freedom and right!

If one is not agreeing with what is said, thought or written, one can counter that what is said, written or thought…… using the Freedom of Speech…

Seeking a prevention of talking about matters that are sensitive, very sensitive, is, in my opinion at least, in fact doing what the ones who deny the holocaust want….. they get publicity, and the topic is pushed under the table because all attention go’s out to the court-case, not the rubbish of denying the atrocity!

    • E Pluribus Beagle

Fair enough. Now let’s see them sell books extolling slavery, child rape, wife murder and how wonderful the extermination of the native Americans really was to say nothing of promoting the murder of gays and lesbians.

  • Lawrence Kulak

The sad thing is that Amazon has banned plenty of controversial Jewish books all these years because of this lawsuit in a retaliation gesture against Jews. If Amazon really was interested in free speech or press, then why did it return to selling Nazi hate again without unrestricting the Jewish books it banned in retaliation? And why did it react to the lawsuit by banning those controversial Jewish political books to begin with? I think one of the books that were banned if I am not mistaken was Zealouts for Zion, about the the radical Settler movement in Israel. Only a complete moron or Jew hater would equate this book with Holocaust denial literature. Amazon is probably run by a bunch of queers, Jewish self haters, radical leftists or all of the above.

  • CYNIC JEW

There is a flood of new literature that is selling old poison in new bottles, including some deeply disturbing Holocaust denial. The point is it sells. Attempting to have the literature banned and pulled off the ‘shelves’, actually lends credibility to it. In fact it plays directly into the hands of those who claim that the Jews control the media. Holocaust denial needs to be openly and intelligently refuted. It needs to be intellectually trounced, particularly because it is attracting a new left-wing academic following. I have read statements from so called respectable intellectuals who say “there are many unanswered questions about the Holocaust”. It is not good enough to simply get angry, or to use the traditional condemnations. It needs clear, logical refutation, point by point. Legal action against the authors and peddlers is the cherry on the top.
