There’s no need for Israelis to get their panties in a twist. That’s because Israel is set to become the first country in which 3-D printed underwear will be available for purchase.

Manchester, England firm Tamicare,  run by Israeli-born designer Tamar Giloh, is to thank for the honor.

Tamicare shot into the headlines recently after it was reported that Victoria’s Secret was in talks with the firm to produce underwear.

The Cosyflex process used by Tamicare to create the undergarments is fully automated. It takes 3 seconds to produce one pair, and a total output of up to 10 million pairs a year is expected.

Enabling the creation of innovative, all direction-stretchable non-woven fabrics based on the unique integration of elastomers and textile fibers, Cosyflex™ opens up an entirely new world of possibilities for product developers everywhere,” Tamicare writes on its website.

“Cosyflex™ enables unlimited possibilities for patterns and textures. Cosyflex™  is so versatile it allows  having a variety of attributes in different parts of the same sheet of fabric, seamlessly, and without sewing. ”
