Senate Democrats Push for More Iran Sanctions

Politico – Leading Senate Democrats aren’t backing down from their calls for new penalties on Iran despite the Obama administration’s landmark deal to rein in the nation’s nuclear weapons program.

Senior Democrats on Sunday suggested the Senate is as likely as ever to slap Iran with additional sanctions, a move sure to frustrate President Barack Obama’s delicate diplomatic effort.
