A Chasidic man in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, was attacked on Sunday night, becoming the latest Jewish victim of the “knockout game,” where unknown assailants try to knockout an undefended passerby with one punch, the New York Post reported on Monday.

Eli Leidner, 26, was knocked down by a man and woman at 10:40 p.m. at Bedford Avenue and Taylor Street and was not badly hurt, the New York Post reported.

A relative said Leidner was sure he was targeted because he’s Jewish. In fact, of the 10 or more attacks reported in recent weeks, nearly all have been in predominantly Jewish neighborhoods, the newspaper said.

On Friday, Shmuel Perl, an Orthodox Jew, was hit in Borough Park.
