Golan Resident Indicted for Aiding Syria Army

Jerusalem Post – The Northern District Prosecutor’s Office has indicted a 28-year-old resident of the northern village of Majdal Shams for crossing the nearby border with Syria to aid the Syrian army, it was cleared for publication on Friday.

According to the indictment, security forces arrested Raafat Hamad al-Halabi after he re-entered Israel from Syria about three months ago with the aim of assisting the Syrian military in their fight against rebel forces.
