An Israeli policeman was stabbed in the back and moderately wounded by an Arab attacker on Monday at the Adam Junction in Israel’s Benyamin region.
The policeman, still fully conscious, was evacuated to a hospital in Jerusalem, with the knife still lodged in his back.
Other security forces on the scene fired at the assailant, but he managed to escape. Large scale searches are currently being conducted in an effort to capture the attacker.
