‘Son of Hamas’ Father Released by Israel, Third Senior Official in Recent Days

Jerusalem Post – Israel Prison Service on Sunday released Hamas founder and the movement’s leader in the West Bank, Sheikh Hassan Youssef.
Youssef, Hamas’s senior representative in the West Bank, was released to Ramallah from Ofer Prison after spending 28 months in jail. He was initially held for 10 months in administrative detention. Later, he was sentenced to an additional 18 months in prison for security-related offenses.
