Bennett Threatens to Leave Israel’s Governing Coalition Over Kerry Peace Proposal

Jerusalem Post – Economy Minister Naftali Bennett said Tuesday that his Bayit Yehudi party would leave Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s coalition in the event that the government accepts a framework deal with the Palestinians that is “not consistent with the faction’s principles.”

Speaking at the Jerusalem Conference, Bennett said, conversely, that if the framework agreement presented by US Secretary of State John Kerry was consistent with Bayit Yehudi’s principles he would back the prime minister.
