Israeli Construction in Judea and Samaria Rose Nearly 124% in 2013

Israel Hayom – Construction in Judea and Samaria rose by nearly 124 percent in 2013 compared with 2012, Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.

According to CBS data, construction began on 2,534 new housing units in Judea and Samaria in 2013, compared to 1,133 in 2012. Nationally, Israel had a 3.4% increase in the construction of new housing projects over the same period, rising to 44,342, a 16-year high.
