A yeshiva student visiting London drew a rare smile from one of the Queen’s guards on duty at the Horse Guards Parade near Whitehall in Central London, the U.K.’s Metro reported.
A video of the episode was posted to YouTube on Sunday and had garnered almost 100,000 hits at the time of publication.
In the clip, the prankster tells a tale about the pair being classmates and claims that the soldier didn’t speak much in school, only answering questions by nodding his head.
“His mother always picked him up from school, you know he was that type of guy, until he was twenty, his mother always picked him up from school,” the joker says, finally cracking up the guard.
With their mission accomplished the students cheer as the guard regains his composure, nodding his head in disbelief.
