Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik took to Facebook on Sunday to show her iteration of Purim’s classic cookie to her fans.

The actress uploaded a photo showing pieces of sushi molded to look like hamantaschen, the pocket-filled pastry traditionally eaten on the Jewish holiday. Shaped as triangles, the mini rolls even had black centers resembling poppy seed fillings, the oldest and most traditional variety of the Purim treat.

“Sushi hamantaschen?!?! Absolutely,” Bialik, who is Jewish, captioned the Facebook photo. She added a holiday greeting for her followers, saying, “Chag sameach to everyone celebrating Purim today!”

Her fans responded enthusiastically. One wrote, “Looks good! Recipe please. Instructions please” while another said, “Where has this been all my life…?” Other returned Bialik’s holiday wishes and complimented her “Great twist on the traditional.”

Season 7 of The Big Bang Theory currently airs Thursdays on CBS. The show follows a woman who moves into an apartment neighboring two smart, but socially awkward, physicists. She shows them how little they know about life outside of their lab.

The series also stars Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki.
