Israel Hayom – Confidants of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family on Tuesday criticized a former Prime Minister’s Residence employee who is demanding financial compensation from the Prime Minister’s Office over work-related damages, saying the man was a part of a larger smear campaign seeking to damage Netanyahu politically.
“This is an orchestrated and organized campaign of rounding up embittered former employees from the Prime Minister’s Residence. They are promised 15 minutes of fame just to extort conditions from the Prime Minister’s Office, while conducting a vicious smear campaign against the prime minister’s wife with the intention of politically damaging the prime minister,” a confidant of the Netanyahu family said in response to a Channel 2 news story on the lawsuit.
