Hamas Violates Humanitarian Truce in Gaza, Fighting Resumes

Ynet A two-hour humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza City requested by Hamas and agreed to by Israel collapsed after less than an hour on Sunday, with the IDF saying its troops came under fire in the neighborhood of Saja’iyya.

The military said its forces were shot at shortly after the two-hour truce, facilitated by the Red Cross, had begun at 1:30 p.m., and that it had resumed combat operations. Hamas had no immediate comment on Israeli claims it had breached the cease-fire.
