In a moving sign of camaraderie during a break in fighting in Gaza, one IDF unit bolstered it’s esprit de corps by spontaneously breaking into traditional Jewish song and “hora” circle dancing.

“The whole world is like a narrow bridge – but the point is to remain fearless!” the dozens of soldiers sang, maybe in light of the awful losses in recent days of fighting: 28 soldiers and officers were killed and dozens have been wounded in intense door-to-door clashes with Hamas terrorists.

However, “We are believers, children of believers, and we have no one to rely on but our Father in Heaven,” both religious and non-religious soldiers sang together, in solidarity.
