As Muslims rallied to support Hamas at International Al Quds Day rallies across the Arab world on Friday, Iranian military leaders vowed to rout out the “Zionists” from all of Israel, according to semi-official state news agency Fars.

The fiery condemnations came after a week of speeches in public and on social media by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei supporting the cause of Hamas, which the regime openly admitted to supplying with long-range missiles and drones, and calling for its proxies in the Syrian regime, Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Gaza’s Hamas to unite in a ‘defensive pact’ against Israel.

On Friday, Brigadier General Hossein Salami, Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, known as the Revolutionary Guards, said, “Today, no point in the occupied territories is secure for the Zionists,” in an address to participants in Tehran’s Friday prayers and after the rallies.

Salami addressed the “Zionists” and said, “We will chase you house by house and take revenge for every drop of our martyrs’ blood in Palestine and this is the start of the Muslim nations’ awakening for defeating you.”

At an Al Quds Day rally in North Khorassan province,  Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, Commander of Iran’s Basij Force, announced, in the words of Fars, “preparedness of his forces to fight against the Zionist regime in the Palestinian territories.”

Naqdi said, “At present, the Iranian Basijis are ready for Jihad in the Palestinian fronts and are waiting for the Supreme Leader’s order and are impatiently waiting for that moment.”

A resolution supporting the rallies read: “We as the fasting and revolutionary people of Iran assume the freedom of the holy Quds [Jerusalem] and the freedom of the oppressed and defenseless Palestinian people from the hands of the brutal and fake Zionist regime as the exalted cause of the Islamic Revolution and the decisive strategy of Imam Khomeini and his righteous successor Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei) for the Muslim world and spare no material and spiritual support for the materialization of this holy cause.”

Fars said the resolution described the gains of the Islamic State and other terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria as being proxy armies for the US and “Zionist regime.”

“We as the integrated and united Iranian nation, consider the cause of freedom of the holy Quds and all-out support for the Palestinian Islamic resistance and efforts to annihilate the cancerous tumor, Israel, still the first priority of the Muslim world,” the resolution said.

The resolution also addressed Iran’s now-prolonged nuclear negotiations with the U.S. and the other world powers: “They should know that the Iranian government and nation under the guidance of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution still thinks of wise and fair interaction with the world and under the guidelines of the Leader beside the powerful and brave Armed Forces will give a tough, destructive and regretting response to any threat and aggression against the country’s territorial integrity, interests and national security.”
