JNS.org – An Israeli airstrike on Gaza killed three senior Hamas terrorist leaders on Thursday.

Mohammed Abu Shamaleh, Mohammed Barhoum, and Raed al-Attar—who were responsible for digging tunnels, smuggling weapons, and training terrorists—were killed near Rafah.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the “superior intelligence” of the Shin Bet security agency and the “precise execution” of the IDF operation.

Khaled Mashaal, the Qatar-based Hamas leader, said that Israel is “replicating what Hitler did years ago” in an interview with Turkey’s Anadolu Agency. Mashaal praised the support Hamas has received from the governments of Turkey and Qatar, and said Israeli criticism of Qatar is “a source of pride for Qatar,” theJerusalem Post reported.

Since Hamas broke the latest cease-fire on Tuesday, the terrorist organization has fired more than 230 rockets at Israel from Gaza.
