Times of Israel – US Secretary of State John Kerry spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about forging a global coalition to fight the “medieval savagery” of the Islamic State after the execution of two American journalists, the State Department said Wednesday.
Speaking to the press during a daily briefing, spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Israel was among a handful of countries Kerry contacted in a frenzy of telephone diplomacy on Tuesday, including Australia, Italy, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
